Ryland Peter Cooder is an American musician, songwriter, film score composer and record producer. He is a multi-instrumentalist but is best known for his slide guitar work, his interest in roots music from the United States, and his collaborations with traditional musicians from many countries. The Teisco Ry Cooder Style Pickups sounds great and this little guitar sounds much bigger than it looks. It weighs only 4 1/2 pounds but it sounds Heavyweight!! I have it strung up with new 10's for easy play and bending. I sell a lot of these. Most are buying them as a reminder of the one they used to have, but these are also made to be played.
